Who we are
Pendulunar is a handmade witchcraft and botanical craft shop based in the UK, selling through Ko-fi. This website is operated by the owner of Pendulunar. For any privacy questions you can reach us at socials@pendulunar.store.
What cookies we use
We use one category of cookie: analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics 4 (GA4). These are only placed if you choose to accept.
- _ga — distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_ZVN5N4CNDQ — stores session state for GA4. Expires after 2 years.
If you decline, none of these cookies are set and Google Analytics is never loaded. We don't use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any other third-party trackers.
What we collect and why
When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects:
- Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
- Your approximate country (not your precise location)
- The type of device and browser you're using
- How you arrived at the site (e.g. a search engine, direct link)
This data is anonymous — we cannot identify you from it. We use it purely to understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them. We do not use it for advertising.
Google's own privacy policy applies to how GA4 handles this data: policies.google.com/privacy. GA4 data is retained for 14 months by default.
Legal basis (UK GDPR)
Analytics cookies are non-essential and require your explicit consent under the UK GDPR and PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). We only activate them after you click Accept on the cookie banner.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Know what data is held about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (see below)
- Lodge a complaint with the ICO
Because GA4 data is anonymous, we cannot identify or delete a specific individual's records. To prevent any future data collection, simply decline or withdraw consent below.
Your cookie choice
You can change your mind at any time here. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage and takes effect immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes we'll update the date at the top of this page. We don't anticipate adding new trackers — this site is intentionally minimal.
